PLEASE REVIEW THIS INFORMATION BEFORE ORDERING OR ATTEMPTING TO CHANGE OLDER EVAPORATOR COILS

RCTA-B036 "A" Coils are shipped with all "6" Pistons (57, 60, 65, 67, 71 and 73),
one bottom adaptor frame, two horizontal support brackets and
new coil tubing and drain panel for HQA and coil boxes.

RCTA Replacement coils carry a 1 (one) Year Warranty 

Or the balance of the warranty period of a listed coil
when proof of the date of purchase is provided.

Coils may not be suited for all original applications

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW
REGARDING THE USE OF THE RCTA-B036 "A" COIL
HAS NOT BEEN TESTED AND WE CANNOT ASSURE PROPER PERFORMANCE IN
HEAT PUMP APPLICATIONS

REFRIGERANT CHARGING: Charging by Super Heat (Cool Mode charging only for Heat Pumps; check operation in Heating Mode, below 50 degrees)

TXV Coil Replacements: The RCTA-B036 coil is a piston coil. In some cases the original coil will have a TXV.

HORIZONTAL APPLICATIONS : Horizontal applications limited to RXCH-A14 drain pans which limit HORIZONTAL applications to RHQA-12 and -13 Air Handlers.

RCTA COILS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE IN HORIZONTAL APPLICATION IN THE RHQA-08 OR -10 Air Handlers

DOWNFLOW APPLICATIONS :Most application. however, the RCTA-B style coil in Downflow applications is limited to airflow ranges below 1050 CFM

DOWNFLOW WARNING :THE RCTA-B036 IN NOT RECOMMENDED IN THE DOWNFLOW POSITION WHEN AIRFLOW EXCEEDS 1050 CFM (2.5 Tons)

UPFLOW/DOWNFLOW: RCTA-B036 can be used for application in RXAL-B16, 20 and 22 original coil boxes, with modification and /or parts shipped with the coil.

RHQA air-handlers:     RHQA models may require modification using parts sent with the coil, or removal of parts from the air-handler.
RXAL Plenum Boxes:  Addition or modification using parts supplied with the coil, or removal of parts from the plenum box.

Heat Pumps: This coil is intended for Air Conditioner applications only. If you have a heat pump application please contact your local Rheem or Ruud distributor for assistance.
