Status
This is a critical fault. A2L sensing device is faulty.
Description
This fault is set if the A2L refrigerant sensor has an internal fault.
Expected Operation
If an A2L refrigerant sensor has an internal fault and is able to communicate it to the furnace, the control declares this alarm. Cooling, heat-pump heating, and defrost operation is inhibited until the alarm condition goes away. Gas heating maybe permitted. Circulating blower airflow will be as appropriate for an A2L refrigerant leak event. If the sensor fault goes away, alarm will be cleared and control will resume normal operation after a 5 minute delay.
Cause
Faulty A2L refrigerant leak detection sensor.
Solution
Replace A2L refrigerant leak detection sensor.
