T088_F - EXV Sensor Management Error
Status
This is a critical fault for furnaces that use electronic expansion valve.
Description
The fault indicates that there is a drift in the suction temperature sensor reading. Suction temperature sensor is checked over several cooling cycles to determine if the reading is in normal range or has a drift.
Expected Operation
The fault "T088_F EXV Sensor Measurement Error" will be declared. Cooling operation will struggle due to this fault.
Cause
1. Bad suction temperature sensor.
2. Bad furnace control board.
Solution
1. Replace suction temperature sensor.
2. Replace furnace control board.
