T030_Z - Too Many Zones for Outdoor Unit Model
Status
System will operate as a single zone, ignoring any zone controls
Description
(-)A15, (-)A16 and (-)P16 Mid Tier inverters are limited to two zones only. The Thermostat has found more than two zones and will not allow more than 2. This change is effective in (-)ETS800SYS firmware version AC-RHUI-03-02-04 and later. Regardless of firmware version, mid tier inverters may only have 2 zones and may require a small bypass.
Expected Operation
System will operate in heating and cooling but will ignore zoning.
Cause
1. Too many zones
2. Address for second zone was changed to 3 or higher.
Solution
1. Remove additional zones.
2.Be sure zone 2, if only 2 zones are present is designated as zone 2.
