Description
The compressor drive has detected a failure on an internal relay controlling the fan inrush current.
Expected Operation
Shutdown - After 3 failed attempts unit will lockout requiring manual reset.
A failed compressor drive.
Solution
1. Check wiring between fan motor and inverter drive. Make sure wires are connected and have no visible missing insulation and that connectors are fully seated to plug housing and plug housing is fully seated to control. If necessary, replace wire assembly.
2. Check fan motor winding resistance. Replace fan motor if any windings are shorted to each other or to ground or if any winding has an open circuit.
3. If fan motor and wiring is OK, replace invert drive controller.
