Status
Unit will try 3 times and lockout.
Description
DC Bus voltage is too low. Generally, the DC Voltage is directly relational to the input AC voltage and low AC incoming voltage will cause DC voltage to drop.
Expected Operation
Unit will shutdown and wait for DC voltage to return to normal. It will not run until it is normal. If this happens 3 times, unit will lockout requiring a manual reset. To Reset, line voltage to outdoor unit AND indoor unit must be cycled off for 3 minutes before being turned back on.
Cause
1. Low incoming voltage.
2. Compressor drive has failed.
Solution
1. Check input voltage to unit. Should be above 180VAC. If under this voltage, voltage must be corrected or fault will persist.
2. If the input voltage is above 180VAC and problem persists, replace inverter drive controller.
