A961_O: No Voltage at Compressor
On the outdoor unit control, this will be indicated by a number 48 on the seven segment LED display.
This alarm means that the compressor is not seeing voltage. It means the contactor does not appear to be pulling in or line voltage is not getting through the contactor. Check the contactor to see if it will respond to a known 24v at the magnetic coil. If the contactor is closed, check voltage at the load side and make sure the harness to the compressor is in tact. Check for open windings. If C-R is open, C-S is open but there is continuity between R-S, the internal overload is open. Allow compressor to cool, check capacitor.
