Equipment Disabled while fault is active.
Description
Compressor is pulling locked rotor amperage and has locked out as a result.
Expected Operation
System will not operate.
Cause
Compressor Seized,
Compressor Windings Shorted to Ground.
Run Capacitor on certain models is defective
Solution
Check compressor winding resistance relative to ground to see if compressor windings are shorted. If so, replace compressor.If compressor windings are OK, replace Drive. Compressor may be mechanically seized if windings are correct and drive does not resolve issue. - Replace Compressor.
