T115_A: EXV Sensor Measurement Error
Status
This is an active alarm.
Description
This fault may occur if the indoor suction line thermistor accuracy has drifted. This alert is new in air handler firmware version 20 and later (47-105415-03 Control Board or later)
This alarm will only be displayed on smart thermostat version 39 and later.
When this alarm is set, indoor EXV will operate at 50% open to keep system on line.
NOTE: This alarm may be ignored IF the air handler is equipped with a TXV. Please contact your Distributor Service Coordinator or District Technical Representative if this is the case.
Cause
1. Sensor is reading greater than 85 degrees F on a call for cooling for 3 days in a row.
Solution
1. Check accuracy and mounting of indoor coil thermistor against thermistor resistance chart.
