The transition from drive to line voltage contactor is taking too long
Expected Operation
Shutdown - After 3 failed attempts unit will lockout requiring manual reset.
Cause
1. Model File needs Updated… Follow the instructions on the link below in the solutions section.
If you need help contact your distributor service coordinator. DSC's if you need help contact your DTR.
2. Temporary loss in voltage or a brownout.
3. Compressor possibly shorted.
4. A failed compressor drive.
Solution
1. TRY THIS FIRST > Update model specific files using the app.
In the Service Tab in the app, find a button that says "Bluetooth Updates" and follow the instructions to update the model data files. Be sure you are connected to the right outdoor unit.
2. Verify Incoming Voltage
3. Check compressor winding resistance relative to ground to see if compressor windings are shorted. If shorted, replace compressor.
4. If compressor windings OK, replace compressor drive controller.
