A202_F: Float Switch Trip - Furnace Aux Input 1
Status
This fault indicates the field installed float switch (such as one found in a condensate pump or trap switch) has either tripped because of a failed pump motor or blocked line. Or was not set up correctly in the EcoNet Thermostat installer furnace settings.
Description
This alarm indicates the aux to cs switch in the furnace is open when it should be normally closed, or closed when it should be normally open. It is configured in thermostat by installing or commissioning technician.
Expected Operation
If an accessory float switch is used, it needs to have been properly wired into the furnace IFC and configured in the EcoNet Thermostat. This fault will shut down any call for cooling because of a faulty drain beyond the unit either as a trap switch, float switch in a condensate pump, or float switch in an auxiliary pan.
Cause
1. Float switch has opened when it is configured for normally closed, or closed when configured as normally open.
2. Float switch was improperly configured in EcoNet thermostat.
Solution
1. Check drain for obstruction or faulty float switch and repair as necessary.
2. Configure CS contact in EcoNet Thermostat, Settings, Installer, Furnace properly.
