Status
Shutdown after 3 attempts, will restart when cleared and resolved
Description
The outdoor fan is experiencing an over-current event.
Expected Operation
System will shutdown if running and will try again. If it happens 3 times, the unit will lockout requiring a manual reset.
Cause
Damaged Wiring or plug from drive to motor, damaged fan motor, output to fan from drive damaged
Solution
Inspect wiring and plug to fan motor from drive and replace if damaged. Check windings on BLDC fan motor to be sure windings are even and there is no continuity to ground (shell of motor) from any of them. If fan motor, and wiring are ok, replace the drive.
