T952_O: Outside Temp Thermistor Failure

On the outdoor unit control, this will be indicated by a number 84 on the seven segment LED display

This alarm means that the outdoor ambient air thermistor located on the outdoor unit has failed. It may have become disconnected, shorted or damage to the sensor or wire may have occurred. Check the resistance of the sensor against a 10K resistance chart.
