Status

This is a non-critical fault. Return air temperature is used only for display purposes on the EcoNet Thermostat.

Description

This fault indicates the return air sensor, which is integrated in the control, is open or shorted.

Expected Operation

The fault "T081_F Return Air Sensor Fault" will be declared but the furnace will continue to operate.

Cause

1. Bad furnace control.

Solution

1. Replace furnace control board.
