Status
Equipment will go into permanent lockout after 3 attempts.
Description
Compressor is pulling locked rotor amperage and has locked out as a result.
Expected Operation
System will not operate.
Cause
The most common causes:
1. The most common cause for this failure is a mis-wiring, disconnected wires or broken wires or connectors.
2. Failed compressor - such as a seized bearings or winding resistance out of tolerance.
3. Failed compressor drive.
Solution
1. Check compressor winding resistance relative to ground to see if compressor windings are shorted. If so, replace compressor.
