If the EcoNet thermostat is turned up and auxiliary heat does not come on, it can be for several reasons.
1. Locked out based on outdoor temp.
If the the outdoor temperature is above the Electric Heat Lockout or Gas Furnace lockout temp, the auxiliary heat will not come on.
2. Aux heat Delay
Look for the setting for Aux Heat Delay and set that to a lower number such as 5 minuets and allow the delay to laps.
3. Compressor not at full overdrive speed
For Thermostats with firmware versions of AC-RHUI-03-02-04 and later, the compressor must be at its highest overdrive RPM. So if high speed for instance is calling for 7200 RPM, but its only getting to 6000 and being held back for some reason other than the clamp, the auxiliary heat will be held off. If in this case the clamp is engaged at 6000 and the unit will get to that speed, the auxiliary heat can be turned on.
