A112_O: Expected Econet IDU Not Connected
Status
This is a critical alarm, there will be no operation when alarm is present. This is only a valid alarm on hybrid inverters and RP18/RA18 units with Regal Beloit and Emerson equipment.
Description
This code is displayed anytime there is no model data at the furnace. The model data is electronically stored data that is used to define (among other things) blower operation. Without model data, the furnace cannot function.
Expected Operation
No operation, including the thermostat will be permitted without the model data. The model data defines the IBM (Indoor Blower Motor) speed-torque curve. Without this information, the IBM cannot operate.
Cause
Faulty control board - possibly incorrect Bluetooth/EcoNet set up
Solution
Replace control board.
