A811_O Inverter-IPM Fault
Status
No operation when Alarm is Present. Operation will resume if Alarm clears. After three strikes without 15 minutes of continuous operation, a permanent lockout (requiring power reset) will occur.
Description
Internal power module on the compressor drive has overheated.
Expected Operation
No operation until fault is corrected.
Cause
Power module may overheat due to extreme temperature conditions. Module may self-heal and operation may resume but, this is unlikely.
Solution
- Check and correct wiring and electrical connectors to drive and compressor.
- Replace compressor drive.
- Replace compressor.
