Description
The UODC controller cannot detect the presence of the compressor temperature sensor.
The Compressor Thermistor is mounted under the compressor sound blanket and is attached to the compressor belly with a large zip tie. The compressor sump thermistor, as it is commonly referred to has been used to monitor compressor temperature for crankcase heat operation and floodback protection.
Expected Operation
The system will run with this active alert and will show as a current fault. This sensor should not be left disconnected and should be repaired as soon as possible.
Cause
The sensor is not connected or that the sensor or sensor wiring or connector is failed, disconnected or broken.
Solution
1. Ensure that sensor is properly connected to the Universal UODC controller.
2. Replace sensor.
