T084_F: Outside Air Sensor Fault
Status
This is a non-critical fault. Outdoor sensor is only used when non-communicating outdoor equipment is being used and the field installed outdoor sensor wired back to the furnace IFC has failed. This fault will not allow for set up of dual fuel balance point setting.
Description
This fault indicates the accessory outdoor air sensor is either open or shorted.
Expected Operation
The fault will be displayed but the furnace will continue to operate, however no temperature would be displayed in the EcoNet control center.
Cause
1. Outdoor air sensor was installed and removed without cycling power.
2. Outdoor air sensor or wiring is shorted or open.
3. Outdoor air sensor has failed.
Solution
1. If no supply air sensor was ever installed, cycle power to remove fault and check IFC for indication of condensation that may have temporarily tricked IFC into thinking one had been installed.
2. Check wiring connections between IFC and outdoor air sensor if one is installed. Correct/replace wiring as necessary.
3. Replace Outdoor Air Sensor.
